Simi Valley High School Football dedicates their new
Team Locker Room with a Flag to Honor Jim. Friday, September
29th was a very inspiration day for the Tutino family. Read

Jim was tragically killed on January
26, 2005, in a Metrolink train crash in Glendale, CA. He
will be missed by many. A memorial scholarship fund has
been established in Jim's name. The fund will support college
education for students who might otherwise not be able to
attend college. Click on "How to Donate" to find
out how your generous gift will help us to keep Jim's memory
and good work as both a Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputy
and the Coach of Simi Valley High School Football team alive.
Jim was honored
as his name was added to the Washington Peace Officers Memorial
in Washington, D.C., during National Police week -May 15th,

and Carrie Kurz (Jim's niece) all ran in a 5K race to honor
fallen officers in Carlsbad, CA on May 7th, 2005- we got
